Here we are offering and amazingly beautiful & powerful Tibetan Thangka featuring the BUDDHA HERUKA CHAKRASAMVA – The Wheel of Great Bliss Thankga features 12 Armed four faced Deity and consort. This a Tantric Deity representing the transmutation of desire into the flowering of full awakening. They can aid you on your spiritual journey.
Thankas are painted with all natural vegetable dyes extracted from Himalayan plants. The colors are stabilized with a tree sap to give them great longevity. Painting a Thangka requires great concentration, which is a meditation practice in itself. The artist also contemplate the images in the painting and their metaphysical meanings. The Thangka is a portable shrine that has been used since ancient times by Mahayana Buddhist Monks for various ceremonies and also as teaching aids. They are traditionally encased in silk brocade frames which allow them to roll up for the monks to travel with them.
Tibetan philosophy teaches that we all have the same archetypes in our subconscious. The purpose of these Thangka is to remind us of truth through these archetypes. It works for me and I know you love the benefits of such a sacred object. All of the figures are accented with ink made from real gold and which adds a wonderful glimmer in the right light. The Thangka measures 28 X 38 inches outside and 14 X 17 inches actual painting. Detail and painting quality are quite high with beautiful rendition throughout the painting.
