Authentic Tibetan Tamang Tribe Shaman’s Drum
In the region between Kathmandu and Tibet resides the Tamang Tribe of Bonpo Shaman’s who use drums for Shamanic Trance Journeys. Drum is handmade and carved in this region. They use a Phurba Dagger handle and Goat Skin drum head. Drum has a wonderful deep booming voice. Come with traditional curvey playing stick. On the drumhead is a Shiva Trident empowerment symbol. Ritual cloth attached to handle. Drum measures 14″ in Diameter, 4.25″ thick and 26″ long. The handle is the traditional three sided Phurba Dagger with a Deity head and many shamanistic symbols carved into the blade. This ancient tool of magic has been used by Buddhist Bonpo Shaman’s for centuries to go into a trance and channel the benevolent helping Deities.
